As you've probably noticed already, the canteen now stocks Banana Boat Sunscreen and Mount Aqua bottled water. This is courtesy of the two generous companies so when you purchase one of these excellent product you are not only getting a fabulous price but you are supporting player development at the Falcons.

Ryde Hornsby Baseball League are hoping for your assistance in guiding the future direction of RHBL.
The Falcons encourage all parents to take the couple of minutes to complete the survey online.
Don't waste this opportunity to have your say.
Parents, players and spectators are reminded to walk around the track to get to Diamond 4 not across the middle of the park which interrupts games on Diamonds 1 and 2. This has affected games on the last 2 weekends.
This is a safety and, consequently, insurance issue. It is considered so dangerous that umpires are instructed to halt games until the ground (the outfield) is clear again.
Once again, Anonymous (the newly appointed official scribe of the F2's) has put "pen to paper" to deliver an update on the mighty F2's charge at the semi's. A big thank you to Martin Carey for passing it on.

Ever wanted to train with a Major League baseball player?
Baseball Clinic for 7 - 13 year olds at Blacktown Olympic Park on Saturday, 6th December.
Get your mates together, form a team and battle it out to see who will be the 2008 MLBI Road Show 4 on 4 Yard Ball Champs!
8 teams of 4 people will be accepted in each of the following age groups: Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16.
Blacktown Olympic Park on Sunday, 7th December.
Juniors' Coaches: We have received a missive from RHBL Secretary, Frank Borcherdt (yes, our Frank Borcherdt), pointing out that there are several rule changes that will be in force from this weekend. The details have been posted to the Team Officials page.

Junior (drawstring) pants are available from the canteen.
Sizes: 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14.
Even though baseball is a non-contact sport, occasionally injuries do occur. No matter how minor, please ensure that the injury is noted on the match report (on the back of the Result Sheet). The insurance company will not pay if the injury is not noted on the Match Report.

A new improved version of the Field Addresses page is now available.
It now includes embedded Google Maps for all the playing fields. It's still a work in progress but all maps should work.
