I am looking to put together a women’s baseball team to play in the 2013-14 Women’s League and am likely to have a few places for any interested junior or senior female players (minimum age of 14 by around August 2013). The target competition is B grade that plays on Friday nights so it won’t clash with junior baseball on Saturdays for any players that wish to do both.

We currently have a mixture of junior girls and senior women that have expressed interest. Most of the senior women are mums of juniors players and some have played softball in the past but we also have some that have never played before. To help these senior players decide if they are comfortable joining the team, I will be running training sessions at Majors Bay on Tuesdays over the next few weeks.

If you have any junior or senior players in your club interested in joining this team, please get them to call me on 0402 892 280, email me or they can simply come down to Majors Bay Reserve on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.

3rd grade also play in the Grand Final on Sunday morning.
